Location: The UConn-Stamford parking garage is located at 1194 Washington Blvd., Stamford CT 06901
Garage hours: Monday – Friday: 6:30 a.m. ‐ 11:00 p.m.; Saturday: 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Sundays – the garage is closed. This schedule may vary during holidays. Advance notice will be sent to the campus beforehand.
Decals/Badges: All students, faculty, and staff are required to obtain a parking decal or badge issued by the University of Connecticut. Valid decals from other UConn regional campuses will be honored if the individuals comply with parking regulation.
‐ 1st floor: There are designated areas for Faculty, Staff, and Student parking. Handicap parking is available in the designated spaces and must have a valid handicap permit. Faculty and staff designated parking is for faculty and staff only. In addition, there are spots designated for “Future Husky” on the right side as you enter the first floor. These spots are reserved for students and/or parents who are touring the campus or have an appointment with the Admissions office.
‐ 2nd floor: This area is Student and Visitor parking. All student vehicles must have a decal.
‐ 3rd floor: Not available for parking to UConn faculty, staff, or students. These spaces are leased to agencies in the community. Parking is authorized after 5:00 p.m.
Enforcement: University Enforcement Officer will patrol and ticket violations on a regular basis. Parking tickets are $30 and up depending on the circumstances of the infraction. Only DMV registered vehicles are allowed to park in the UConn garage.
Parking ticket appeals: To appeal a parking ticket please complete a Parking Ticket Appeal Form
An appeal committee made up of three UConn‐Stamford students, one graduate and two undergraduates, will review appeals on a regular basis or as needed. Their decision is final.
Overnight parking: Leaving your vehicle in the garage overnight is not authorized. Vehicles will be towed that are left overnight without authorization. If you are going on official UConn related business from the campus and returning to the campus, send an e‐mail to the Associate Campus Director at firstname.lastname@example.org to get approval to use the garage. Please include the make, model, license plate number/state of your car, and your trip details.
